I'm tying to look at the schedule to see if I can give up a few days to make it out. I would like to bring some of my wares also to get you east coasters some exposure to high elevation tested hammocks and tarps!

    Paddling at HangCon

I am planning to lead the paddling at the HangCon '18. Contact me if you would like to assist me, or if you feel you want to be the primary leader of the paddling. The plan is to paddle the Florida springs each day. On Saturday we will provide free instruction in kayak, canoe, and stand up paddleboard, according to the need. Although we will paddle in the morning on Saturday, there will not be a paddling trip on Saturday afternoon so that everyone can take full advantage of the vendors.

Below is my web site with my credentials as a paddling instructor. Please feel free to email, text or call me.

You know you're welcomed. You've been with us since Buck Lake so come on down.

Thanks for taking the lead on getting some of us out on the water.
Will you be showing us how to pack a kayak properly so we can take full advantage of kayak hammock camping? I would like to see how to hang a hammock from a kayak while still in the water. That would be an unusual hammock experience.
Enjoy and have fun with your family, before they have fun without you

I've done a lot of kayak expeditions, so we can talk about packing a kayak (it's all about the bricks and mortar concept). Not too sure about hanging a hammock from a kayak. I'll have to ponder that one.

Gumbo being a tile setter all my life has taken it’s toll on my knees but I would like to help as much as I can. If I volunteer please promise not to send me on long journeys unless I can drive of course
