I'm going to be in Denver overnight the week after next (first week of October) and am looking for a campground (I have a work truck and trailer so I need parking space) in which to hang. Any recommendations? thanks.

Denver is a pretty big (sprawling) city... where in Denver will you be working (North, South, East or West)?

I think all those in the link are in the mountains. Fjr is right, depends on what part of town you'll be in. That said there are some large reservoirs in town that have campground facilities, I would start looking there. I'm in Denver metro but if I'm camping I generally get out of town, but maybe could point you toward something.

I'm driving from Montana to Houston, TX and passing through the Denver area. A couple hours any direction probably is fine.
Rocky Mountain NP... NE entrance. Moraine Park. Big campground, lots of "drive-thru" sites for RVs that your T&T will fit in.
Spectacular! Elk walk past 10' from your picnic table!

I think I read over the just for "overnight" part and thought you were going to be here for a few days. Assume you are coming down 25 so it all depends on how much time you want to spend venturing out of the way. There's several state parks with facilities for your rig that could fit the bill
