    Warbonnet Lynx full length warmt

    Hello folks.
I do own a torsoe length lynx and want to buy a full length lynx. But.... does the full length lynx realy heat up the legs? i do use a good quality foam pad under my legs. but in colder weather i feel its barely enough.

I haven't tried a torso length Lynx, so its difficult to compare. I wouldn't say that my full length Lynx "really heats up the legs", but it keeps my legs warm in the same way that it keeps my torso warm, without needing to use (or carry) a foam pad. Whether that is enough or not will depend on the outside temps and wind chill factor, among other things.

I can feel the heat on my back and it keeps me warm. But i really need to know, is it worth buying the full length? Less fiddle with pad.

I sleep very cold and only use full-length underquilts. For me it's absolutely worth it. I tried partial length underquilts but that simply didn't work for me.

If you're happy with the partial Lynx and only need a bit more insulation under your legs, why not try a warmer sit pad under your legs first?

Any suggestion for a good pad?

Since I don't use a pad for insulating my legs - not really, sorry. I like my Therm-a-Rest Z Seat Pad, but don't know if it would be sufficient. For boosting an underquilt I have had good success with simple 3mm-5mm Evazote pads.

I had the Winter Full Length Lynx, it kept me toasty which is unusual, my legs and feet were very comfortable.

I do not care for partial length UQ.

My Lynx is a perfect fit, no fiddle factor.

+1. I used to buy partial length quilts and try the pad but I flip like a fish on a dock plus I have extremely cold feet. I would wake up with cold feet over and over. With a full length (both 3 season and winter versions) I can say I've lever had cold feet since. I dispise pads.

I have both a 20* full length lynx and a 20* torso length lynx. The full length definitely makes a difference. It gets me lower than just the partial and a pad and is my shoulder season choice. I'll use it into the teens while I won't go lower than 30 with the partial.

Do you feel that your legs are warmer in the full length?
