Is there a Florida 17-18 season schedule thread? I thought there was, but I can't seem to find it. I am hoping to bring a friend to one in January or February.
The essential part of me can not be discussed here. Ask me in person.
Didn't get around to a schedule for this season. We will start with this hang then try for a trip every couple of weeks. The Thanksgiving weekend might make for another good opportunity. I will be posting up another in Dec. hangNyak may schedule one for New Years. Then there is the HangCon in Jan., MLK Jr weekend. The Sherpa Hang will be mid Feb. Then we just see what the weather holds for the remainder of the season. There may even be some last minute trips thrown in if the urge strikes. Just keep an eye on the trip planning thread.
Most of us end up poorer here but richer for being here. Olddog, Fulltime hammocker, 365 nights a year.
I got that Friday off i will be there.

How can I be so ready to be in the woods with everyone and so unready at the same time. Time to treat gear, load pack, load food bag. The posse will be here 0800 Friday. Locked and loaded. Whoo, what's that tingle? Anyone else feel it?

I am new to hammocking and I will be joining you all this weekend. This will be my first hang in the backcountry. I will make my way up there Friday morning.
