Its not about the money. If it was I wouldn't have placed the order until all the payments were in. Its the principle..... Just drop me a note letting me know you have SOME inclination to follow through. Reply to the reminder PM. Even if that note says you are no longer interested... I'm cool with that. I can use the line.

Perhaps I'm being hasty? But I find it unacceptable that someone can log on here after a reminder PM has been sent and not only not reply to it, not send payment, yet carry on conversation in various threads.

Yeah, I totally get what you're saying, since I go through the same thing organizing backpacking trips for a meetup group - and sure enough people won't respond and won't respond and I'm down to just saying at the outset "if you don't respond when I ask you to, I'm giving the permit slots to someone else." It's not so much about the money as the courtesy and the rudeness of ignoring the gel out of someone who's put themselves out at your request.

And then I have to say sorry for doing the paypal wrong. oy.

Let me make a public apology. I know that I'm at fault here and I'm truly sorry. I won't waste time making excuses. Your time and effort should be given more appreciation than just words - action is called for on my part. Sorry for causing any problems, frustration or lack of diligence my in-action on my part has I caused. I'll get it done today.

Sometimes I like to hike and think, And sometimes I just like to hike.

Hiking is'ent about waiting for the storm to pass its about learning to hike in the rain.

Orders were already made, so this is where we wait?? I guess so. Snow is still coming down here in Minnesota and I'm not quite geared up for four season camping like others I'm jealous of. I've got a little while before I'll be ready for hanging. Just let me know if I need to do anything else for this group buy and thanks again for putting it together.

    Soda...everything is all set.

Its hurry up and wait time.

I just got a tracking number on the red. That will probably show up while we are gone.

The grey I ordered to have for supply showed up in about 2 weeks, maybe a little less and it came from the same vendor I placed the group buy order through. However, it shipped direct from Samson. Ill get ahold of him after vacation to see if theres any progress.

    yay!

I even bogarted some empty 500ft #12 wire spools from work to wrap my line around when it gets here.

Opie, you are one of my favorite guys simply because of this. That's why I let you make my whoopie slings.

haha! That's what we say all of the time in the Pride of the Southland.
Last winter, we were hurried out of the buses only to have to wait about 3 hours before we were able to march in the inaugural parade! WE FROZE!
