Yes I rarely use them but when I do it's more luxurious
And I just use sticks for stakes on the tieouts

With my WBBB I only use tie-outs to move the bugnet away from my face. Usually have this very loose. I either use a stick or tie it off to one of the tarp tie-outs.

I use my hammock tieouts all the time. (HHExDeZip), i usually just hook them on to the tarp lines but sometimes i stake them to the ground. Both works equally good in my opinion.
Makes the hammock a bit more roomy and not as swingy
An over night hang is still a hang
Sometimes I use them, other times not... Sometimes I can't when hanging tandem with spreader!
On the Hennessy they have shock cord so I just attach it to the tarp corners. Keeps them up and out of the way.
You might want to change them to reflective line, like Dutch's Reflect It.

On my WBBB I do porch mode as much as possible.I pull the hammock tie outs toward the head end tarp stakes and enter to and from the foot end.Took a trip or two to make it standard operating procedure though.
I just attach mine to the corner of my tarp, no extra stakes, but they are gonna be tripping hazards. I just take the shock cord hook on end to the hammock run it around the tarp corner and then reattach it to the hammock. Sometimes this got the cord a little wet but it wasn't enough to bother me. I just treat that side with the tieout like the tarp back door and come in the front opposite of the tie out. I like the head tie out on the chameleon for pulling the bug net out of my face but i could live without the foot one.

Hammock tie outs: I also rarely use them to tie out my hammock. The times I do are normally when it is windy and not using a tarp. But on my WBBB XLC I will use on for the shelf, since it is on the back side there are not any tripping issues. On my Raven I will use the designated foot end tie outs and take them on an angle away from center enough to spread the hammock out but not be in the way of tripping. (picture below)
My best advice: Papa Smurf @ Dream Hammock makes U shaped Ti staple tarp stakes. I keep 2 in my kit for storms or staking down anything I may step on inside the protective coverage of my tarp. I also use glow in the dark shot cord that is also reflective on the ends of my tarp to secure the doors so It lessens the chance of damaging or losing my bearrings at nite when returning and entering my setup.

In my last hang w/ the Chameleon w/ rain storms every night.. I left the tie-out unhooked unless IN the hammock. Left a peg/nail style stake w/ reflective loop on the top for visibility, in the ground. When I hopped into the hammock, I simply reached out and tucked the tie-out under the stake or attached just before getting in.
I seem to enter from foot end and foot side and usually have the head end closed. Pull outs go to the tarps stake or if the wind is light to the tarps corner.
