Hi guys I wanted to introduce myself.
I'm new to the hammock world. I bought a cheap hammock to get started soon after a backpack trip when I packed a heavy tent while my buddy just hiked up his small lightweight hammock.
I plan on getting a down underquilt soon but for now, just a sleeping mat and maybe a mylar blanket set up like an underquilt. I'm using a pretty heavy tarp I bought off amazon. I'm doing it on a budget until I know what quality items to purchase.
I hike and backpack in the Angeles Mountains mostly
