No. Not that kind of conversion.

My friend John came with me to the NJ Winter Hang. I lent him a Hennessy Expedition with top cover and KAQ underquilt. When we turned in Saturday night I wondered if he'd be comfortable, especially with temps dropping to single digits. Sure enough...he was snoring in less than 20 minutes.

Next morning he told me about how well he slept. Just didn't like the top cover since he normally sleeps under the stars.

By the way, he did use two sleeping bags in anticipation of the temps.

Friends don't let friends camp with only one stove, one hammock, one UQ, etc, etc, etc .....
