So My GF wants to go on a day hike

Love that woman sometimes!

She leans over to me yesterday and said that Sunday looks like it's gonna be 50 degrees and wants to know if I want to go on a day hike... Is a Frog's Butt Water Tight?! Hell yea.

Taking the opportunity to test some of my summer gear out:

ULA Circuit
Platypus 3L Bladder
Platypus 1L Canteen

Hopefully I'll get my new Canon Powershot 780 12.1MP camera by this Friday so I can shoot some of our day hike in better quality.

Oh yea bringing the hammocks for our lunch trip. Probably going to do about 7-8 miles.

Lucky you ... is she up for 7-8 miles ... might not want to push her farther than she's capable the first time out ... or it might be the last time out ... just saying ...

She's up for it, she's a tough cookie

It's not the first time we've done day hikes.

She only hate's overnight's as she doesnt like the noises at night

She loves the vids of Bear Mountain so she says she wants to go there. Been there twice already but I know the hike so it's probably going to be that.
