    sealing a DIY tarp

ok, elbow deep into this tarp project, about to hem the thing then seam seal. So, do you seal just the inside/underside or both sides (inside and out)?

I'm using PU4000 and seam grip if that makes a difference.

I have read many accounts of folks thinning the sealer, including people who mix large quantities to coat regular ripstop to make silnylon -- I myself have not yet done it but intend to when I get to the sealing phase!

Sadly, most folks (& some well-respected cottage vendors) I see put on thick, heavy layers of sealant. Using the link I referenced above I got the most amazing results = in fact it was so good you could barely see it. Definitely can feel it though. Looks great and doesn't add much weight.
