So I'm thinking about taking advantage of Dutch's down sale. How many ounces would you buy for a full length 30° underquilt ? Not sure of the design yet , just need an idea of how much I need? Thanks

The amount of down is really dependent on the size of the quilt. A 45" wide quilt won't use as much as a 55" wide quilt. Same goes for length.
Take the dimensions you want your quilt to be in inches (length, width and loft) and multiply those numbers together. Then divide by the fill power to get the number of ounces you will need to fill that volume.
Cheers.

There are two kinds of people in this world. Those that can extrapolate from incomplete data.
You will need around 12 oz.
Thanks guys. That is the start I need. I guess I need to nail down some details.
