    Just bring base of Stand in more narrow for example and shorten the suspension

    Rigid connectors to lengthen a pole = good. Rigid connectors to connect to legs together = bad.

    Oh yeah, absolutely. The "tubing splicer" on that page should be used, not the angle/corner connectors.
