Yea if I had to use my attached garage I woudn't be too worried. It varies from 40F-85F (when outside temps are -18F to 100F, the two extremes I can remember).

Stink bugs though!!! A tightly sealed tub would be very important.

Climate controlled storage unit - just pack there when heading out on a trip. Added benefit: No monitoring of your increasing horde.

Additional Additional Benefit: Place to live when the lady finds out about said increasing horde!

    Thanks all...

Sadly, spouse has zero interest in getting outdoors. Hence.. there are not closets where I can hang the quilts and her full force would be applied to influencing the budget committee to disallow funding of third party storage. Remaining options include the garage, though I have already taken most of the space there with a full gym and oly weight rack. That's all I have other than the trunk of the car...
Yes, my pack weighs 70lbs, but it's all light weight gear....

Hang those special "weight" bags from ceiling hooks in the gym. Temporarily move out of way when not "working out" with them.

Cool. Still getting my ducks in a row before I get my quilts.

That won't work... No such thing as temporarily move them out of the way. that would be way too often.

I think I can clear some room in either my closet or one of the shelves in the other side of the garage, and store them in some large Rubbermaid containers...

Why not under the bed, in their canvas storage bags? Or, if there is no room under the bed, get rid of the bed, and set up the hammock with the quilts in the bedroom. That will also create more room for more quilts!
There are two kinds of people in the world: those who say there are two kinds of people, and all the others.

LOL.. My wife isn't nearly that accommodating with the whole hammock deal, so I think we will be keeping the bed for a while. We have an ornate wood frame for the bed and it sits close to the floor.. can't really slide stuff under easily.
