Yeah so I won a Chameleon at the MAHHA.....

...and it's AWESOME!! It's charcoal grey with a moroccan blue over cover and bug net. IT's 11' 2.4 hexon. I bought one in 1.6 hexon when he released them and really like the hammock, but I'm thinking the 2.4 hexon is the better of the two IMO. I really like this fabric! No stretch and the hammock isn't too much heavier than my 1.6. Thanks Dutch for all the MAHHA action and especially for donating this hammock! Look at that blue!!!!!

Interesting... built my first DIY with 2.4 hexon...
Making a second soon with 1.6 hexon wide.
Thought I would give both a try before considering a Chameleon.

Beautiful. I’ve been thinking of this color combo for one of my next hammock purchases—I think these pics confirm it. And I’ve been curious about the 2.4, as I already have hammocks in the 1.0 and 1.6.

    Lucky you. Thanks for posting.

I'm really impressed with the 2.4 hexon. It's not quite as soft as the 1.6, but still very smooth and comfortable to lay on. It doesn't "feel" very much heavier than the 1.6 really but I can tell I'm on a more substantial fabric. It also has that nice airy weave that the 1.6 has. 1022171412.jpg1022171406.jpg

    Big 10-4s on the 2.4
Unless you are gram-weenish, the fabric is simply the best I have lain in in any type of hammock. Very little calf-ridge unless you are careless in your hang'les [like I was Friday night. QuikAdj and Saturday night was near perfect], soft feel, low stretch/sag, little flap if you have both the covers off like I did.

The best part was that JmBoh was *this close* to picking up a Chameleon at the swap meet a couple hours earlier in the day. At the last second, he generously let someone else make off with it, only to win one in the raffle anyway. He even waxed poetic a few hours before the raffle about how much he loves the Moroccan blue... This raffle prize was destiny.

Dang it.....i won the 1.6 hexon chameleon and love it....but it made me want to try the 2.4......and now you show this beauty. My wallet might as well just be sent to Dutch at this point.

My wife has the exact same hammock (2.4 in gray/blue) for outdoors, and also a DIY 2.4 for nightly indoor use. Though I've had her try many different fabrics (and bridges), she won't/can't sleep in anything other than a hexon 2.4 GE.
