I'm finally done working on the road so I'm in! I'm really looking forward to seeing everyone! Kurt, I assume you'll be the hike master general? I'm looking forward to exploring your backyard!

I plan on being there and will be early. Planning on going up the road to Spencer Canyon CG for at least a couple of notes. Pedro will be there, maybe some others.
Kurt if in the area our plan is for Spencer CG elevation 8000 for 2 days Wednesday/Thursday then moving down to Showers on Friday.

That's a great plan! I checked out the Spencer CG for the group hang, but it wasn't quite as well suited for large groups, but it'll be perfect for you guys. While you are there, be sure to drive all the way up to the summit and do a little hike there. Have a meal at the Sawmill restaurant up in Summerhaven, great food! I was just up there yesterday.
Also check out the Prison Camp/Gordon Hiribayashi (sp?) turnoff which is just above Molino basin. Interesting piece of history. This is also a very popular trailhead for mountainbikers, as it's at a spot on the Arizona Trail that isn't too steep, so it's a nice ride. Speaking of which, if there are mountain bikers in the group, bring your bikes. The Catalina Highway is also very popular for road bikes, but you have to be in really good shape!
I'll join you if I the schedule allows - I have another trip I am planing in April, but don't have dates on it yet so I can't be certain if I can join you guys yet.
Getting pumped!

BTW, Mt Lemmon got about 6" of rain this week, and are due to get a foot of snow tonight. The creeks are running well, so we should have good wildflowers and maybe some water features for the hang. The weather should be dry by April, but the ground should have enough moisture for things to get good and green.
