Anyone have experience with WB Thunderfly? I just ordered one.

So I don’t see a whole lot of reviews on the WB Thunderfly. What do you guys think of it?Regardless, it looks very cool, so I ordered one in 30D sil-poly bushwhack camo!

I have one exterior pole mod. Is it possible to get by with just one pole to pull out 4 tie-outs; 2 on each side by centering the pole between them?

FYI, I’ll be selling my black Dutch Xenon tarp soon in case anyone might be interested.

It kicks butt, that's all you need to know. haha. I don't quite understand what you are talking about with the pole mod. You want to get two!

I mean to tie each free end of the shock cord to one of the pull-outs. One free end would go to head side, then go over pole, then the other end goes to the foot side pull out. The angles would change, but I am assuming it may be fine. Just wondering if anyone does this to save on the weight of 2 poles.

I only found 3 YouTube videos for the Thunderfly and really nothing else. It interested me enough to buy the TF blemish. Between looking at the SF and the TF I accidentally bought the SF. Ugggg. Oh well, I have used the SF twice now and I love the work of Warbonnet. I think I will still order the TF in the Spring. I am really interested in hearing your thoughts on the TF.

Well, it was shipped very quickly and is already on it’s way! Need to figure out a way to test this ASAP!

Be sure to give us a review as they do seem to be sparse.

Same here. TF is on my 2 tarp short list for summah.

I would like it in burnt orange however.

I have a bushwack thunderfly in 30d sil poly and love it. I don’t usually use the pole mods with mine. Seem to have plenty of room without them. I do use them with my super fly. Sounds crazy being shorter on the sides than the super fly. Just pitches differently.
