Last September I broke my leg on the trail and am now enduring P.T. as well as cabin fever. Hopefully by end of December I'll go to Alabama to pinhoti trail and get in shape by the time I reach springer. I started in hot springs so I need to hike thru Georgia and the smokies before going back to Virginia. Had a hip replacement in july 2016, hence the name double time, takes me twice as long. How do I change my sign in name? Was rescued off trail at harpers creek at the priest base, great people watching hikers back there and U.V.A. is great as well. For now I'm back in Lex. Ky. "getting fixed". Love all the info available on this site, thanks to all involved.
