Meeeeechigan is a beautiful place to hang out. . .
Hello and welcome from Marietta GA. I get that down is expensive, but you should at least get a down quilt set for She Who Must Be Pleased =) Happy hanging!
Welcome to the forum! The best place to ask questions, see gear, and meet fellow hammockers is at a hang.
Lucky for you there is one this weekend in Michigan and it's only 70 miles away from you!
Here's the link with the info to the hang: https://www.hammockforums.net/forum/...Elmira-Nov-2-5
I hope you are able to make it even for a couple of hours!

Hello from Northern Arkansas!
Welcome from another Michigander and Troll (for those of us who live below the bridge). Enjoy your stay and come out to a Michigan hang sometime. A bunch of us just got together for the Gluttony Hang this past weekend.
Welcome to the Michigan Hanging Crowd!
Hope to see you around at a Hang in the near future!
Have fun with your gear lists and gadget hunting, I think that's as much fun as the hanging in the woods....

Welcome to the club. I grew up in Michigan. Beautiful place to hike and camp. I'm running around Western New York now, and I love it. Ask a lot of questions and you'll learn a lot here.
The more I learn about people, the more I like my dog.
Welcome from Grand Rapids!
Thanks everyone. Unfortunately I won't get to put up my hammock for another month or so. I'm going to try my first winter hang. I don't get a lot of time in the summer. So this is my option.
