Nice! I've got a 1.6 SL BB (40D). I'm curious about 1.7!
I'm glad you're enjoying it!
Thanks

I sleep well in all my Warbonnet hammocks (RR, XLC, and 2 Travelers). When the weather is really cold I prefer the XLC and Wooki. For warmer weather I choose the RR. When inside the house I most often use a Traveler.
I would like to know weights of all these combinations. It seams that by the time you have the XLC fully tricked out, top cover, wookie,.....it could be substantial? My WBRR with cinch bugs, webbing, trekking pole tips is 27.9oz. Arrowhead Equipment Ridge Creek XL is 19.8oz. 2QZQ underquilt protector is 5.3oz. And Cloudburst tarp with snake skins, ridgeline, guy lines. 4 stakes, and tarp pullouts 27.1oz. (All weights include stuff sacks) That is 80.1oz (5lbs 1oz). I do not carry the spreader bars because I use my trekking poles. I have lighter setups, but I carry the Ridgerunner because the comfort trumps all.
I would be curious to know what a XLC and Eldorado with 20 degree wookie complete trail ready setups weigh. ( we’ll say double layer, since my WBRR is a double layer)

An XLC2 heavyweight DL with topcover, 20 deg wooki, and WB UQP with a matching list of tarp, lines, stakes, etc that you have above weighs in around 6.2 lbs.
Because the Eldorado is constructed on the same "frame" as an XLC, but has fewer frills, it weighs 2-3 oz less. The overall weight then is still around 6 lbs.
The differences in weight when comparing your set-up of the RR to the XLC2 or Eldorado is the lack of using dedicated spreader bars (12 oz) and a bit less material in the RR construction.
The game is the best teacher.
Thank you Watertooner! Great information to have!
