Looking for any suggestions on what to use for guyline for my tarp?
I've been using kelty triptease. 14 dollars buys a 50' piece that you can cut to whatever size you want. As soon as my order of zing it/lash it arrives, I'm going to learn to make the guy lines that opie offers on his website.
the triptease is great because it's reflective. There's really no way you can not see it in the dark if you have a light on.
I have heard your confession I know who you blame
If you had it all back you'd just lose it again
Can't bank on redemption if you ain't saved
Don't bring me your tales of temptation and loss
Don't bring me the pieces of your shattered cross

thanks, was looking into zing-it myself. just needed some re-assurance.
I use home depot mason line. Cheap and visible.
cheap is right up my alley.

I just bought my guylines from Opie...
Great stuff, no knot and custom made right here in the USA... Here's the website, one of our own .. www.whoopieslings.com .. Opie's site.

+1 on the guylines from Opie. Very well built, very light, color of your choice, and IMO very reasonably priced. He ships fast and gives great support. I personally like his lines with the built in tensioner.

Quest, stumo, thanks for the endorsement.
fantana... Mine arent the cheapest... But functionality and weight wise..... And they require no knots other than larks heading the prusik loop to your tarps attachment points.
I've had a chance to toy around with a number of Opie's riggings... another +1
