Welcome, hope you can make it. If you plan on one dish that can feed 10 or so people and a snack you should be good. There will be pots and cast iron there if needed and most cooking is over the fire.

It’s an easy walk in but no permanent facilities so give your gear a couple good backyard tests to make sure you are dialed in for the temperature.

It’s a pretty easy going group so if you show up with bacon and a good attitude you’ll fit right in.

Christo must of been reading my mind! The reason to plan for feeding 10 or so is because we usually have twice that many people and usually an overabundance of food. 2 choices per meal always gives a variety plus makes it easier for planning.

GT is always a great adventure and we always have a variety of weather, so plan accordingly. Get your gear dialed in and know your limits. There's lots of resources on HF so take advantage of them and ask questions.

Don't forget to add your info to the Google doc so we have a handle on who's coming and bringing what.

A little over 1 month away to GT4.

I hope it works out well. And very glad you get to go to Green Timbers again this year

Did someone say tamales? Dirk, hope you bring the homemade salsa too! Pray for snow!

I'm guessing that at least 15 have committed, but the Google spreadsheet is feeling lonely: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets...it?usp=sharing

All are welcome. Make sure to pass along the link to the planning thread and past trip reports so they can get a feel for how it is back there in winter.
