    Bridge Top Cover

I'm not sure what to do with this information which is part of the reason I'm posting here, some of you are pretty creative. I was laying in my BMBH using my poncho liner http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/c...7&kwtid=256022 which serves as my indoor/summer TQ. I've always thought that a top cover/weather shield as an option instead of a bug net was a good idea but lack the DIY material to make one for my BMBH. For some reason I got up folded the poncho liner in half, and to my surprise is the perfect dimension as a top cover. It even has ties at the appropriate place to tie the liner to the spreader bar rings. I suppose this might be a way of adding a few degrees to a set up?

I've been thinking of something similar for some time for my bridge. I think this would be great way to go.

Yes - it will definitely add to the warmth.

You might even unfold and drape, letting the sides fall down the sides of the hammock. You can do this by hand sewing 4 ties on the edges at the points where the hammock corners are. Drape, mark and hand sew.

That will cut off any possible drafts and increase the interior warmth even more.

You can still get into the hammock.
Those who sacrifice freedom for safety, have neither.
