9 is great for a large group, 10 great for a smaller group (or loner!). I've never heard anyone say anything good about 8
The only other site I've been to is 1. It's on the other side of the river from the normal parking lot, so, it's a nice secluded spot, but 'cause of the river crossing it's a summer spot, for me.

Redwing and others can tell you more more about the southern sites.

I don't know why, but I only now just found this thread. The nights of Saturday the 16th or 30th are probably my best chance to go out. I'll be following to see what happens.

I just txt with Hobo, Him Redwing and Exup are sitting next to the fire at mohican now. I'm Jelly now!

Keep in mind Deer Gun Season 16th. and 17th.
Was thinking about hitting Wildcat hollow but they allow Hunting.
Don't feel like dodging bullets lol.

Well, meteor-wise, the hang was a bust. The WX changed and overcast skies, snow, and high winds were the order for the night. Met up with Redwing and Exup for some great conversations around the campfire.The night was nasty, though. A little worse, and I would have been ditching for the warmth of my Wrangler. I need to figure out how to stay warm in Ohio winters....

I am up for hanging this weekend if anyone is interested. I am planning on going to the frozen butt hang in MN in Jan and need to get my cold weather tolerance up lol.
