FWIW ~ I LOVE my Argon 1.6 , its by far my most comfortable hammock. So much so that I sleep in it every night when I'm not hanging outside. I'm 165 , and its got a nice bit of stretch for me , just how I like it. The XLC is nice, but for simple comfort, the 1.6 is it.

Honestly, I've done that absolutely zero times. I always sell them to a lucky person here at a hefty savings. I don't know what the return policy is, but given these are custom built-to-order items, I don't even want to ask or bother them. Some things I just don't feel right returning, even if it is allowed. I'll take a $20 loss all day long just to try new things.

I got 2 complete suspension systems. Buckles, webbing, Dutch Clips, no whoopie. NOT a Hennessey!!

    Truly a Black Friday Special.

Got my black Argon hammock today and set up in the basement test area. WOW!!!!!! This is it. THIS IS THE ONE!

I've tried everything from 1.0 Robic to 1.7 nylon to heavy Grand Trunk parachute material. A mix of 10', 10.5 and 11'. Some were ok, some were sold within minutes. But all of the 11-footers were horrible IMO. Just not a fit for me.

But I figured I would take one last try since I don't believe in "if it's not broke don't fix it". Well I'm glad I did and thankful for the black friday deal to nudge me along.

Within seconds of getting in I realized how much "flatter" I feel. Not that I was suffering for the past 5 years in 10' hammocks, they're fine. But this is a step up from what I can tell so far. No loose fabric. ZERO calf ridge pressure. This always goes away in the woods for me, but in my basement there's just no way to get around some ridge. But it's practically gone here. And I LOVE the simplicity of a black hammock.

I'm chalking the comfort up to the fabric first since all other 11'ers didn't work for me. Then some credit to the 11' length as well. The only weird thing is the fabric feels like there's sand in it, the tiny bumps. Not like sandpaper or irritating, just funny when running my hands along it. No problem at all.

Ordered Tuesday at 6PM, arrived Friday. And of course no action with Thanksgiving in there. Thanks Dutch!

Here it is with the 30° Phincubator...
