Now I am really missing not being able to change my flight to come out for this. However I really cant have all my work stuff sitting in a parking lot and the 5 hour commute back to Seattle for work on Monday.

You guys are in for a treat with Rip and bgray getting together at a hang.

4x4 isn't required and the parking is right off of Hwy26..... but you do have to have traction tires or carry chains going over the passes by state law....not sure which direction you are coming from but just keep that in mind

Well might be going off grid here. Mucho gusto and I and my brother Quesonic Mase-O are heading up to a nearby campground. Then well go to frog lake in the morning.

Maztrain - are you rigging up your poly tarp for the fire again this year? That was sweet!

I plan on leaving from Kent (Seattle Area) around 9ish in the morning, and get there in the afternoon. I wasn't able to get any wood, but if I can get some on the way I will. I don't have any large stoves or anything to cook with for potluck (the curse of being an UL'er I guess) but I am bringing snack type items to contribute. I am sure I will be bringing too much gear, because its essentially car camping. I don't have a pulk, so I guess it will be a few trips back and forth to the Boken-Roo and back to camp. But I need the exercise anyways LOL. Excited to go, and looking forward to meeting everyone. This has been on my bucket list since it started many years ago.
I miss my 4.8Lb base weight as a ground dweller...But I sure DON'T MISS the ground.
