I just ordered a few and am looking forward to playing with them. I like the idea of using them on tarp doors and this was what convinced me to finally make the purchase.

Seems like no longer having the cord fixed to your tarp would be pretty convenient. Youd just gather your stakes together and roll all the lines around the bundle of stakes to pack up. A big spring gate would allow for that too but it would also add substantial weight and cost i think.
I swapped to this method and I have mixed feelings.
    The pros:
Easy to adjust, even from inside the tent.
Helps with finding your stakes. I put my tarp in the snake skin one night because I got a night without any wind. The night before it snowed, so the stakes were covered. However, even after being buried for two nights the stakes were easy to find due to the 4’ yellow ZingIt cord attached.

    Cons:
I hate having to roll up the cord on the stakes. It’s much simpler and quicker to have the line attached to the tarp and roll up as you’re putting the skin on.

    So my initial conclusion:
Line attached to the stake for winter to help keep track of stakes.
Line attached to tarp when setup/tear down speed is more important.

Got some in the mail last week. Created 2 new ridglines using 1.75 mm zing it and some dutchware bling. They work really well and like the simplicity of the system. Forgot to take pictures but will add them later. Great little product to make a knot free system.

Yes, I managed to get them onto a 2.2mm Zing-It ridge line. It was HARD, took 10mins of poking and prodding with a splicing needle to get the end through. I had to cut a clean end to have any chance. Once they are on, they slide OK, but with some friction. They of course lock fine. So not ideal, but it is just possible.

We ended up renaming them simply NAMA Claw. There is already a Cord Claw out there and I don't want to step on any toes or cause confusion. Added a short video on the continuous ridgeline as well.

Never thought of using the Nama Claw as a truckers hitch. Brilliant. I may need to order more.....
