I think they could be just a tad bigger. Looks like I have to undo the end of my zing-it ridgeline to get them on.
epic win! very nice finish, seemingly intuitive design, seemingly very handy product!! great on you!

Ditto.. tight fit. Would not want to try and get anything larger to pass thru. I have had a tarp set up in the backyard for the last 24 hours with the new toys. Have to go out and see if it is still holding tight or is there any slack .

Well what the heck. I've been looking for something that works better than my Tato connectors so I'll give these a try. Thanks for bringing these to market.
Just out of curiosity. What country are these made in?
Num Num Num
We outfitted 3 of our tarps with Cord Claws and took them down to the Texas Fall Hang. They performed very well and we have been very pleased so far. Everyone who saw them at the hang liked them.
Countrybois, I think the Cord Claw is a winner.
You figured it out..Just refer to it by the acronym right? SHI... oh nevermind =)
As PapaSmurf said the Cord Claws do work. I set up a tarp with an overhead continuous ridge line of 1.75 Zing it and pulled the Cord Claws so the top ridgeline of the tarp was as straight and level as possible. 24 hours later everything was still tight. No sign of the Cord Claws slipping overnight like one gets using a prusik knot.
Even though they are made of Stainless Steel, only time will tell how well they hold up to moisture ( rust ). Stainless Steel is very resistant to rust but it can rust ( and how fast will depend on the grade of Stainless Steel used and other factors ).

This was by design. I didn't want them to be able to slide off the 1.75mm lines with a self-bury on the end. For example, if they are used on a stake tie-out, or split ridgeline, I didn't want them to unintentionally slip off. Also, keeping it close to the sizing of the line increases the hold on the line.
