    My First Warbonnet

It's actually for my wife, but I'll try it out too =)

Took advantage of Black Friday sale and ordered up a WBRR. My wife likes the gathered ends we've been using but was interested in trying something that might give her a flatter lay. We went with the DL because right now a bridge-sized UQ isn't in the budget, so we'll be slipping a pad between the layers until we get one.

Since thus far all I've ever tried are ENOs and table cloths, I'm excited to try one of what I consider a "high end" or "top of the line" hammocks. Thanks Warbonnet, for offering the generous BF discount!

You won't be disappointed!!! I've all but abandoned the fussiness of getting comfortable in gathered ends and have been camping in my bridge for years. Although I use an under quilt now, at first I used an inflatable pad and was very happy with the comfort.

After a severe back injury I even slept in my ridge runner for a year straight and it still doesn't show any signs of real wear.

Glad to hear you were able to snag one (especially after I saw what happened in the for sale forum) - it all worked out after all!

Hey, there is always room in Marietta for another WBRR. I put a Thermarest Base Camp mattress (big and wide) in myRidge Runner Dbl layer and it turns into pure heaven! I didn't try it overnight but it is great for afternoon naps. I have a 25 degree rated AHE RidgeCreek UQ. It is very light and is plug and play for the WBRR. They have a full size version now.

So true, and now that my son and his fiancee have moved back from MI they'll be needing some gear too =)

You talked me into it, haha, and Paul will thank you! Took advantage of the Black Friday sale at AHE to snag a Ridge Creek XL 3 season! Thanks for the pro tip!
