Hello all!

I've been doing the hammock thing for a few months now, started with an ENO doublenest and profly, and have just recently moved to a WBBB XLC with a sil-poly superfly. I was in Michigan this past week for thanksgiving and took the warbonnet system up to try it in the cold (dipped down to 25F one night) and boy was I impressed. I also love to canoe, shoot guns, hike, and play music. I attached a few pictures from the past couple of months, and I'm really looking forward to learning more from this forum.

Welcome aboard from a few miles east in Lakeland. Some of our group spent last weekend at Gator Hole in Green Swamp West. Check the trip reports. Just received confirmation for the weekend of Dec 15-17 in the Upper Hillsborough Tract of the Green Swamp Preserve and will be posting up a trip planning thread soon. Then we will probably be doing something around the new years. 2 Weeks later you will want to make arrangements to attend the HangCon in Ocala on Dr. MLK Jr. weekend. Something will probably come up for the first of Feb. Followed by the Sherpa Hang at creekside camp in the Arbuckle Tract of the Lake Wales Ridge SF. Then acouple of weeks later we will probably be setting up another Richloam North hike and hang. You are welcome to join in for any or all.

Welcome from Nashville, Tennessee. Nice pics. Where in Michigan? I spend time in Michigan since a daughter & family moved to Ann Arbor last December. I hope to drive around the State occasionally now when my wife and I visit.

I stayed just outside of Grand Rapids in Lowell. Not much to do there, which made me ever more glad to have the hammock. Also, my uncle has his own shooting range on the property, so there was plenty of that!
