    Winter Projects?

For some winter is the time of maximum outings as it is easier to warm up in cold weather than it is to cool off in the warmer months.

For others it is the time to prepare the gear for next year. For those who are in the 2nd group, what are your projects?

    For me:
    - MYOG Mac Gear Hammock
    - Snap closure top quilt
    - Small self insulating (sewn in apex climashield) hammock for a mates kid.

After an overnight hike last weekend, I weighed my new backpack loaded with my current winter gear in it. While the scale was out, I realized to my horror that I need to lose pretty much my entire pack weight in body fat to get back to a healthy weight. So hitting trails every chance I get and shedding the pounds I've gained over my years of sloth is my winter project.

I've got two tarps to make, at least one hammock (perhaps two...?!), and more prototype UQs to work on.
Have had the fabric sitting since the previous RSBTR 15% off sale, waiting for me to have time

I have a huge tarp to finish from my Starry Night panel. Four pounds of Goose down to DIY, probably a UQ for my RR, I have several yards of Multi Cam and Marpat. I want to use my Olive Yellow to build a Spindrift Clone. Not sure exactly what I am going to do for my next thread injecting project.

No Ariel tho? That is the typical rite-of-passage for the hammock-encompassed DIYer. BTW, I have seen your DIY work, it is top notch.

Thank, Carter. Lucky for me, RSBTR has been there along the way. Scared to know how much I've spent with you guys but that's okay, there are worse addictions.
And I've been so happy with my gathered ends that I haven't even blinked an eye in the other direction.

A Spindrift in color! I'd like to see that. I'm almost inspired me to learn to sew.
