Real nice with that sun peeking out! Did you do ok without snow pants or gaiters? That wet snow looks like trouble.
I was okay without gaiters. However, I did find the bottom of my pants legs a little iced over that morning, whereas Mike (who always wears gaiters) didn't have any ice at all on his pants legs.Originally Posted by OneClick

Wow, that gorge looks beautiful blanketed like that. Was it hard getting up the trail in snow that deep? It looked like the trail had been blazed in a few of the shots. Thanks for taking us along on your winter adventure.

Love the area now your video has made it that I have to get there this winter.
It wasn't bad at all. The snow wasn't that deep along the trail. It wasn't until we got up to Camp Shortoff that the snow got to around 8 inches.
Yes, we are using the UltraLite II version.
