WI has a rep of being one of the colder places to live. I live on the central side of southeastern WI - sorta - and we've had roughly 10 days of temps below -15º in the last 10 years (2014 and 2009 had some good cold snaps). I checked Tumbleweed's weather history for his neck of the woods and his area is marginally colder, but again the extra snappy cold weather was in 2014, 2011, and 2009 where the temps dipped below -15º, even to -23º one year.
