1-Osprey Atmos 65, I absolutely love it , makes a heavy load feel like a nothing on the trails.
2-Rei Flex-lite chair. This is my 2nd. I bought the 1st generation and everytime I camp, some one is always sittting in it. Very comfortable and pretty lite weight.
3- Singer 4423 sewing machine. Totally hooked on making new stuff, I find myself constantly browsing rsbtr & dutch

I got in on the Chameleon Kickstarter campaign too & have since, added the top cover, TQ & UQ. I've had a couple of nights in it & it's pretty comfy compared to the HH's I've been using up to now.

Honorable mention goes to the Golite Thinsulite Winter Jacket I picked up on eBay for next to nothing... it's pretty sweet, lightweight & perfect for extra layer insulation in the hammock.

Highly recommend the Patagonia Houdini windbreaker. Very versatile at only 3 oz.

Haven't made many purchases this year, but my ULA Circuit is definitely one of my favorite pieces of gear ever. Light weight, well built, roomy, and carries as much as I want to carry comfortably.

I made myself a single piece snakeskin for my 12x12 winter tarp, and it really streamlines the set-up take down process, so I'll add that to the list!

Basically ALL our hammock gear was a 2017 purchase (well, technically I bought our original WBBB's on Black Friday 2016 for Christmas). It is hard to say which has been the best purchase. I'll go with the Warbonnet XLC I bought to replace my regular blackbird. But holy crapola, I dumped a TON of money in 2017 on gear! I even sold a rifle I didn't use much anymore to a friend to afford Wooki's for the rest of the family and a Loco Libre 0 degree TQ!!

I explored "Lateral Financial Investing Management" ~~ That means I sold a Hennessey and an ENO OneLink to get a KS Chameleon... had $.16 left after fees and shipping.

I got into hammock camping in 2017. Got all my gear this year hammocks, tarps, packs, clothes etc.. It was/is a good year. My favorite would have to be the hammock. Sleeping in it under a tarp is very liberating and therapeutic for me, especially in foul weather.
