Oh thanks, Latherdome, that's just what I hoped for! It sounds like the Tensa will indeed work in that oddly shaped room as long as I don't punch holes in the sloped ceilings, and I can devise further protection if needed. I'm 5'5", hence my lower sit height. Outdoors, the higher apex from that will give me a bit more tarp height than you have, so maybe no ducking needed.
Saving my pennies for my shiny new lightweight packable and entirely brilliant Tensa stand!

My first hotel hang, . Really enjoying the stand, well worth the price, light weight and compact.

Wooh-hoo! Got mine today when I returned from a business trip! Great quality - easy setup! Have not slept in it yet but all looks great!
Thanks guys for what I think will be a great addition to the moto-camping I love. So much more freedom I can't wait. ( lets see where can I go this weekend?)
I will take some picks and let you know. Oh boy-o-boy!

Did you take any pictures? Curious how you set it up to fit.

Didn’t take pictures but as able to set up on the floor and anchor to a bed post. Was a bit tight but no walls were harmed

The reason I asked is I setup with a room with two queen beds and I could not get enough room and the beds would not allow me to setup on top of a bed. Good thing I was traveling alone as the beds and space was like a jungle gym.

Great thread. This appears to be the solution to my problems. I travel a lot and there are zero trees where I end up. Mostly gravel parking lots in the boonies. My daughter and I use the amok dramur 3.0. I am a stomach sleeper and this hammock is working well for us. Will this stand work for these hammocks? There can be no head or foot end higher than the other. They must hang perfectly level. I would be interested in testing one for you if that tickles your fancy. If not I will order 2 and trybthem if there’s a return policy in place.

It’s been tested with one. I’ve seen a photo with thumbs up. However, haven’t heard detailed feedback on quirks. If a perfectly level hang is required, use of substantial counterweight (~20lbs) or guying both ends may be required.

Currently up to late July. I guess we should figure out a return policy. There’ve been none. I think we were saying 30 days? Will settle and get on the site.
