While you are updating the site, you may want to list the price of the Tensa4 instead of just the $10 preorder and the rest of the procedure for purchase. Such as you will be contacted by whatever method at such and such a point (stand is a week out, is done etc.) and you have to take whatever steps to process rest of payment if any. The person's stand that I saw at a group hang made it sound like he did the $10 as a placeholder while he considered the stand not realizing he would end up with one. He seemed surprised but content. Looking forward to receiving mine. Thanks for the order confirmation. Now the wait begins.

Complete price and procedure has been there in black and white since day one on the product page, along with lead time. I’m reluctant to duplicate that info here because i don’t want ephemeral info in a public thread i can’t edit later. Google makes it hard to update things if you repeat yourself.

I am sure it is me since I am not used to buying over the internet, but I did not see the full price listed under the three options on the shop menu. I knew the lead time and price from Hammock forums but could not locate it on your website because I was likely looking in the wrong place. Took me a moment to figure out how to make the shopping cart unempty.

I gotta agree with Starfish, I only see a $10 pre-order, as well as the $120 tensa2, and the $49 tensa4->2 conversion kit

edit: down in the 3rd paragraph of the $10 pre-order it mentions full price is $300

Also anyone who pre-orders ALWAYS has the option of not buying when they are invoiced for the remainder. If they wish to remove their name from the pre-order they can do that also. We have refunded this for cause, but reserve the right to keep the deposit if it is outside the 7 day periods specified.

Personally I don't want anyone to feel forced into buying. Currently there are more people wanting stands than we have available - but are working feverishly on rectifying this. The deposit system is to 1. Let people get in line; and 2. Make those in line have some small commitment as a courtesy to the others in line.

FWIW, the average time from invoice to receiving full payment is less than 3 hours, so I kind of think those in line are checking for their invoice often.

I rcvd mine yesterday, a month earlier than was indicated when I placed my preorder.

Bravo on the quick shipping.

Of course I had to play around with all the parts and this morning I set it up in the living room. I spent a little time adjusting and laying... my cat even had to try out the new Dutch netless on the new stand (couldn't pass up the sale from Dutch, I got two).

The cat approves.

As for me, I'm highly impressed. What a fantastic product.

Had to check motorcycle trunk fit, perfect.

I look forward to using this stand with the quiver of hammocks.
