Superfly to a Minifly

I would like to know if anyone has gone from the Superfly to the Minifly that are happy with the coverage and weight savings?

Superfly to thunderfly. I do like the weight savings. Thunderfly still has good coverage. Will still use superfly depending on weather.

You will find folks who have done what you are asking, but here's the thing:

mo_hunter's comments about "depending on the weather" are what makes many of us keep (&some use exclusively) a larger tarp. Getting caught w/too little tarp is doable but not pleasant. I have gone long stretches without needing a bigger tarp but when you get stung.....well you know.

Buy HG's cuben palace if you can and live with the price and pack volume.

** All this from a guy w/ the Palace AND a smaller cuben Asym tarp!!!!!
