    Show me your bug nets!!

    I'm going to need something for my Traveler. I figured this would be a good DIY project. So lets see what you all have come up with!

    I took an old army surplus field hospital net and rigged it to fit my DIY and my ENO's ... these are shots of the prototype ... where I had bungies on the ends ... but realized that was overkill on rig and weight. So I later removed that and sewed that section closed. It fits nice and tight ... when in it the sides hug tight and no problem with bugs. Easy to just lift up and crawl out of. Going to replace it with a lighter bug net that I got from Dicks Sporting Goods ... but going to be about the same config.

    Removable bug net

    Here's one that worked well for me - but you would have to sew some velcro to your hammock body ends.
