    Great work on the wife's bridge weight reduction.
    The two-piece hiking poles at ruta locura will perfectly fit the foot end of the bridge when compressed. I also had Josh ([email protected]) build a head piece that is three equal pieces so it fits in the bag section of my UL Quickstep pack. This also fits the Zpacks Arch Blast. The three piece setup also travels better via air. An added benefit to the three piece is that the two end pieces together fit the foot section as well. If you already have Joshes poles he'll send you a center section that will fit the foot sections to the head section. Leave the foot section behind and use the hiking pole shaving another few ounces.He has very nice adapters for the pole handles.
    You can also shave some weight by replacing the netting lines and your UQ webbing with monofiliment. I have the 3/4 Lynx and replaced the webbing with mono.
    I am now pushing a 40 degree 6 lb base weight and an 8 pound winter base weight with the WBBr.
