Have a blast brother and be sure to squish every spider you see!

Have a blast, Oz is one of my favourite places, pity you aren't doing the east coast, the diving there is amazing.

I wrote a lot about snakes and such, but why put a downer on things, they wont bother you if you don't bother them.

Its been maybe 10 years since I was last there, Sidney and Cairns for 3 weeks, very laid back, chilled out folks mostly, beers not bad Victoria Bitter was my favourite.

There's a place outside Perth, Monkey Mia, its a bay on the ocean where you can paddle waist deep in water with bottle nose dolphins, loved to do that one day.

Take lots of photos mate, btw get used to be called "mate" they do that down under

    Have an excellent adventure

Sounds like many of our trips with the "20 hours of planning" for a 5+ week trip!
Lets see: the "snow man trip" was about 36 hrs, the planning was: Coffee: "It's snowing let's go camping" Me: "Sure, where?" Coffee" "Wherever!" Me "Caeser creek then, I get you or you coming over here?" Coffee: "Cool! You, get me." Granted we had to wait till the next day, but it was a nice trip.
So, lets say 50 seconds per 24 hrs,,,, OK, dude, you over planned for this trip!!!

    Be safe, but have fun!!!

    Alice says "HI!"

I am so excited to your pictures and hear your comments regarding Aussie trip. That trip might turn out to be a truly "Once In A Lifetime" experience.

Off topic a little: what do they get to rent motorcycles in Australia...and do they accept U.S. motorcycle license certifications?

I went through Bike around OZ. All you have to have is a valid motorcycle license in your home country.

I think I did overplan this one. Most of the time spent was drinking coffee or beer talking about the cool stuff we should do and not really setting anything up.

    Tell Alice I say hi.
