The "x" now works to close that banner ad on my Kindle! YAY! No idea if it now re-sizes properly, since I closed it. Will test that next time. Thanks, Rick!

If you using a browser on your desktop computer then you should not be seeing Tapatalk ads.
I just upgraded the Tapatalk app. Maybe that will take care of the problem if that is what some of you are having.

Try requesting the desktop site and this add may go away.

I do not have tapatalk installed, so there will not be any options for tapatalk. I will look for Google play options.

As I said the other day.
I am on my phone and I do not have tapatalk installed, and it only happens on this website.

It covers the top band of the view, and only goes away if I use desktop mode.

    This is a recent development.

You're using FF on your phone, but I don't recall if you mentioned if you have the adblock plus addon installed (in FF). I do and I don't get the tapatalk nonsense. Pretty sure it shows up in chrome though which has no extensions (on my phone anyway). But I never use chrome by choice, some things just open in it. (And yes, FF is already set to be the default.)

Ok, so why would I use adblock if the only website I get the tapatalk ad is HERE?
Yes, I can select Desktop Mode and the ad goes away.
But, the source of the issue is, to me, this website, and it seems to have 'Popped Up' in the last few days.

If nothing will be done, fine, it is not that big of a deal.

Adblock blocks most ads of any nature on pretty much all sites. Not saying it's perfect, but if you don't like ads... I despise ads so I use adblock on every device. I also use noscript, but that's another story.
