    Sealing Spyderline

    My spyderline is due to arrive today. One thing that I'm using it for is to connect the hammock to my ring buckles. I've never used this stuff before. Can I seal the ends with heat, i.e., a flame or soldering iron, like I do with other types of rope? Sorry if this has been answered before.
