Sharpie marker toggle... not a smart idea.

Tonight I was finishing up a gathered end diy hammock. I quickly hung it from my test straps and found myself 1 toggle short. Being my lazy self, I grabbed the nearest "toggle sized" item within reach. Didn't let me down, but my 230lbs sure did squeeze that marker.

Had it failed it sure could have "left a mark."

    Bad attempt at a pun.

It wasn't a total failure, 'mark' that as a lesson learned.

Sharpies have never worked out for my temporary needs. Perhaps try a Dry Erase marker?

I thought about using a sharpie as a toggle, u gotta put something real hard inside to make it not bend, and in that case, why even use one, just use that hard piece of metal u stuck inside it.
