Hiker Cook Kit Specials - Thanks for all the love !

As I begin my 8th year in the cottage gear / hobbyist gear business, I want to thank the HF community for all the support and feedback many of you have shown me. To pay it back, I have put together two cook kit offerings that will be available as long as my supplies of 750cc and 1100cc titanium pots last. If you need a complete cook kit, I doubt you can find a better offer, but obviously all of you will be the judge. You can find all the info on my Special Deals page. Or you can be enticed by a short video clip . . .

    WOW!

That's a heck of a deal. I wish I wasn't cook kit saturated currently. SO tempting. Great offering!

You can buy the pots by themselves if you just need a pot. See my Kit Components page.

So yes, it's designed primarily for someone assembling a kit for alcohol or solid fuel cooking, maybe who has been using a canister stove and wants to lighten up their setup for weekend outings. That said, you could always gift the pieces you don't need or the pieces they replace to one of your backpacking buddies.

interesting, all I really need is a pot and windscreen. I have a diy fancy fest stove already but use some tinfoil for a windscreen (not great).

    Thanks for the heads up.

That is a really outstanding deal on the cook kits.

QiWiz, any data on your alcohol burner, like how long it takes to boil 2 cups of water under controlled conditions, and how long will it burn with 1 oz of fuel... stuff like that?

I've spent quite a bit of time trying to find information on the dual fuel stove myself.

I’ve been considering going the alcohol route this summer. This might just be the nudge I need to take the plunge.
