    Bug Sock help

So, I got a bug sock without zippers - It is one of the Outdoor Vitals bugsocks - 11'

The material seems decent and I like the bottom protector but i am having trouble cinching it up. I think this will go for any sock I get. I think I am just too short - I am in a Dutch 11' netless and I am 5'4" tall. Does anyone have any tricks on cinching up the sock? The videos seem really smooth in getting it up and cinched.

You will just have to scootch up towards the head end to cinch it. Not sure of another way to do it. The nature of those cinch type product.
Could always return it and look at a bottom entry (dutchware) or zipper bugnet.
    Carry forth.

That's what i was afraid of. From videos it looks like i am just too short. I have been pulling myself up the hammock and then cinching it up from there. I just fear that one day i am going to rip the hammock :/
Thank you for confirming my thoughts

I don’t think it is necessarily entirely your height. I am 6’2” and found it to be disagreeable pulling the sock up and over. I bought a zipper from dutchware and sewed it into the side. If you can’t do the sewing yourself maybe a company like 2qzq could add one for a decent price.

I like the sock with the zipper much more, although I’ve only tested it indoors so far I’m waiting for spring to see how it stacks against my zipperless bugnet (fronkey type) in the real world.
