    Eno Sub7

So, REI had a sale where I was able to get an Eno Sub7 for under $40. I was really curious about it and for the price it sounded like a good buy, even if it ended up as a lounging hammock.
So, here are some weights that I was super curious about and I'm posting it here for anyone else curious
Total weight with info tags and carabiners: 6.6oz
Weight of the pair of carabiners: 1.3oz
    Weight without carabiners: 5.3oz
Weight of continuous loop things (more like dogbones): .187oz
Weight of just hammock after cutting off label and tags: 5.015oz

    edit:
Looking at the Sub 6 and Sub 7 specs on the ENO website - it looks like the only difference will be the carabiners vs toggles. The hammock material is listed as 30D Nylon Taffeta for both and they also have the same dimensions

I own many nice 11’ Hammocks from top cottage vendors in the game. I actually saw this sub 7 on sale for $20 on eno website. I bought it for a lounger on a century bike packing trip. I never tested it before leaving. About 40 miles in on my ride , I broke it out & was shocked of how comfy it is.

You can actually get on a diagonal & fabric has that give that I get from my higher end Hammocks . It has since found a place in my man cave & I sleep in it everynight.

I haven't gotten a chance to overnight in it yet. I'm a shade under 5'4" and it is super comfy for me. I was actually really surprised coming from the Eno DN and the Dutch 11 footers.

I checked the ENO website and the Sub7 hammock is now on sale for $29.95 (regular $69.95) without a suspension.

I am 5’8” 185 lbs. I’d say that would be max before comfort level declines. Yes I was shocked too by the quality & comfort. I did camp in it once before it made it to the man cave & it slept great although the top quilt kept falling out at the foot end .
I got triangle thingies & was about to build a UL setup with this but later decided to explore other 11’ Hammocks
