    This is sick

I've just bought beetle buckles to upgrade my HH suspension, a BB hammock and a Minifly tarp.
Didn't put my hands on them yet.
And what am I doing earlier this evening? Watching a lot of videos of chameleon hammock and interested in one.
Please, don't let my wife to know that...

I would love to tell you it gets better.

    It doesn't.

Go ahead and let the wife know. You won't be able to hide it forever.

It can get SO much worse-you could wind up like me and always buy the wrong thing first and then you have to change or upgrade/replace what you bought. For instance,I really want a 12 foot tarp.I have a really old and heavy one that size plus a couple 11 footers. Not good enough...........and it's gonna be too heavy so maybe I could get a new lighter quilt to help make up for it...........ARGH,it's a disease!

In the musician scene, buying lots of gear is called GAS, gear acquisition syndrome and there is no real cure.

As said above, there is no cure. But, you can scratch your itch by getting out and using what you have =)

There's also a similar situation with audio gear. When people get so into the equipment they listen to the speakers, not the music. Important to remember we're here for the outdoors, not the hammocks or the gear.
