    7-8oz for the hammock is awesome, but 17oz for the package would be too much for me to want carry. Shame the poles im already carrying wouldnt work.

    I shot an email over to Jacks R Better regarding the Ultralight version of Bear Mountain Bridge Hammock. It will be released sometime in Spring 2019.

    I believe that is about right now, no? I have a feeling they are coming out with something really nice. This is the original backpacking bridge hammock company after all, as far as I know. Built from the get go for backpackers with quilts meant to work with it. And they always worked real good for me, a has anything from JRB. So any day now, I'm betting we will have some good news on a great new product.
