Things always wanted on a long distance hammock

    Hi

I've created a new hammock ready for my world cycle but am curious to know if there are any features that people wish that they had had on their hammock when they are doing long distance touring.

    At current it has:
    Side pockets
    Built in Storage Hammock

Any other suggestions or thing people wish their hammock had when touring?

    A ridgeline organizer.
Your gear hammock will be outside your tarp?

You need a Ridgeline Media Systems HangTime Hook for those many nights of hanging.

For longer trips, a chair. I originally thought my hammock would fill that purpose, but so often it does not.

A lazy slug tube would also be good because the cumulative time you save on setup and takedown over a long period is substantial.

the gear hammock will be under the tarp i just need to attach it to the suspension rope or i will use a hiking stick to hold the other end off to the side under the tarp.

Am also in the process of making a tarp that should have the extra length if needed.

Two ponchos to snap together and secure over hammock ridgeline to give extra protection in wet cold weather
A system to prevent loss of small items

Ridgeline organizer for sure. Also if you'll be in any kind of temperate climate I think a bugnet would be a must!
