===> I drove by the HP forrest a coupla days ago, and from the road it looked like there was some tree and wind damage. Not sure how it affected the campsite area. Hope they can get it cleaned up before the hang.

Looking to get the whole family out to this one (4 of us) I see site 84 is still open but, judging from the photo, it doesn't look very hammock friendly. Should I book it while it's available at the risk of, dare I say... tent camping?
Thanks,
Dave
If I remember right that site has limited trees. The good news is you have plenty of time to make some stands ;-)
You can also get a site in another section and ride bikes to the group hang area or drive. Whoever had that site last year should comment. Maybe Ill look it up.
It might be ok for a couple hammock but for a full family you might need to supplement with a tent if you don't have stands.
Thanks for the info, any opinions on site 002, looks better and not much further
If I remember correctly Chazz had 84.
Chazz just informed me it’s a nice site but only has two sets of usable trees.
