Got up at 5 AM to let Sam out of the car so he could do what he needed to do and he did not want to go back to bed so I loaded up and left at 6 AM. Got home about 2 PM, took a shower and took a nap ( along with Sam) . The Terminator grilled me to make sure her little baby survived the weekend ok.
Will do up a more detailed trip report along with pictures after I have a chance to go thru and edited them.

I finally made it to a Grayson winter hang ! It was nice catching up with folks I knew & meeting some new folks I expect I'll be seeing around.
Thanks to all who contributed to the pot luck on Saturday - that was some tasty food. And thanks to Hickory (and any others) that helped with the arrangements. Much appreciated.
The wind was up to its usual hijinks this year, blowing in all directions.

Logan and I had a wonderful time for our first Grayson Highlands hang. The winds Friday night through Saturday morning were wild, and like nothing I'd ever hammocked in, but despite their best efforts, my new Squidbilly tarp held up wonderfully. I don't have any photos, but I know Gunner's got some. Thank you to everyone for making it a wonderful hang, and I look forward to seeing y'all again next year!
